How to Play Pick Oh Ball: Simple Rules for Fun!

1. Decide Your Teams
   Choose whether to play singles (1 vs. 1) or doubles (2 vs. 2), then divide players onto either side of the court. Doubles make for a more dynamic and collaborative game!
2. Start with a Serve
   Begin the game with an underhand serve. The serve must travel diagonally over the net and land in the opposite service area. No overhand serves allowed!
3. Follow the Double-Bounce Rule
   To keep things fair, the ball must bounce once on each side after the serve. After these two bounces, players can hit the ball in the air or let it bounce before returning.
4. Take Turns Serving
   Each player (or team member in doubles) gets a turn to serve before the other team takes over.
   • In Doubles: The first server (Player A) serves until a fault is made, then their partner (Player B) serves. Once both players lose their serve, it’s the other team’s turn to serve.
   • In Singles: The serve alternates between players after a fault.
5. Scoring Points
   Only the serving team can score points. If you’re not serving, your goal is to win the rally and earn a chance to serve and score.
6. Respect the Kitchen Zone
   The non-volley zone (a.k.a. the "kitchen") is a no-go for volleys. You can step into the kitchen to return a ball that’s bounced, but you must exit before attempting a volley (hitting the ball before it bounces).
7. Win by Two
   Games are typically played to 11 points, but you must win by 2 points to claim victory. Rally hard and stay sharp until the end!
8. Faults to Avoid
   Faults happen when:
   • The ball lands out of bounds.
   • The serve doesn’t clear the net.
   • A player volleys from the kitchen.
   • The double-bounce rule isn’t followed.
